One plant. One aroma. No compromises.
Lemon balm is one of the best-known herbs in the European herbal tradition. Anyone who has experienced the fresh, citrusy scent of freshly picked lemon balm leaves knows: you can smell quality before you taste it.
This organic tea from Raselli consists exclusively of pure lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) – with no blends, no flavourings and no additives of any kind. What you find in your cup is exactly what grew in the field: a single plant in its most natural form.
Raselli – herbal pioneers since 1991
Behind this tea is not an anonymous packaging company, but a family with a long history. The Raselli family has cultivated its herbs in Valposchiavo since 1991 – a valley in the canton of Graubünden that stretches from the Bernina Massif down to vineyards and orchards. The southern Alpine climate, abundant sunshine and organically cultivated soil all contribute directly to the aroma.
For more than three decades, the farm has been regarded as a pioneer of organic herb cultivation in Switzerland. The herbs are harvested at the optimal time and gently dried at a maximum temperature of 40 °C, helping to preserve their volatile aromatic compounds and natural plant constituents. The tea is packaged directly on site at the Erboristeria in Valposchiavo.
Loose-leaf tea – more aroma, more control
This tea comes as loose leaves, ideal for a tea infuser, strainer or French press. No tea bag, no paper sleeve and no compromises during infusion. The leaves can unfold freely and the water circulates without restriction, resulting in a clear, delicately aromatic infusion with a pleasant citrus note that is neither overpowering nor bland.
Enjoyed warm, it is suitable for any time of day. Infused and served cold, it provides a light and refreshing base for a mild iced tea – without caffeine or artificial ingredients.
Swiss origin, certified organic, directly from the valley
At Raselli, cultivation and processing remain entirely in the hands of a single farm – from the seed to the cardboard packaging. This is not a marketing claim, but the farm's business model: one farm, one valley, one plant. For you, this means maximum traceability and a level of quality that cannot be compared with conventional tea blends from supermarket shelves.
