Leber essentia from Natura Nova combines milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion, peppermint and yarrow in a single capsule with 492 mg of plant complex – complemented by choline. Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function and to normal fat metabolism.
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is one of the best-known plants in European herbal knowledge, with a long history in the plant tradition of Central Europe. The milk thistle extract in Leber essentia is standardised to 80% silymarin – equivalent to 226.8 mg silymarin per daily dose. Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) provides cynarin as a characteristic plant compound; the artichoke extract used is standardised to 2.5% cynarin. Dandelion root, peppermint and yarrow complete the formula as classic plants from the European herbal tradition.
Leber essentia is produced in Switzerland according to GMP standards, based on a formula developed by Natura Nova. Only laboratory-tested plant extracts and powders are used. Every batch is tested for purity, identity and microbiological parameters. The HPMC capsule shell is fully vegan.
