Mental essentia from Natura Nova combines lemon balm, lavender, passionflower and hawthorn in a single capsule with 500 mg of plant complex – complemented by magnesium bisglycinate and vitamin B6. Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) and lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) are classic plants of the European herbal tradition, known for centuries in the plant knowledge of Central Europe and the Mediterranean region. Hawthorn (Crataegus) complements the formula as a classic plant of European herbal knowledge. Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is a plant originally native to the Americas that has long been used in European plant knowledge – the extract used is standardised to 2% vitexin, corresponding to 6.63 mg vitexin per daily dose. The lemon balm extract is standardised to 2.5% rosmarinic acid – 9.56 mg per daily dose. Magnesium bisglycinate is an organic, highly bioavailable magnesium compound.
