One plant. Aromatic. Unmistakable.
Sage is not a background herb. Salvia officinalis has one of the most distinctive aromatic profiles in the European herbal tradition – savoury, slightly bitter and immediately recognisable in its depth. As a tea, it is not intended for those seeking something subtle. It is for those who know what they want.
Raselli Organic Sage Tea consists exclusively of pure sage cultivated in Valposchiavo – with no blends, flavourings or additives. The infusion is clear and aromatic, with the characteristically savoury and slightly bitter note of sage. As a loose-leaf tea, its intense aroma unfolds particularly well – fuller and more distinctive than in a tea bag. It is convincing on its own, equally suitable after a meal and particularly enjoyable on cooler days.
Raselli – herbal pioneers since 1991
Behind this tea is not an anonymous packaging company, but a family with a long history. The Raselli family has cultivated its herbs in Valposchiavo since 1991 – a valley in the canton of Graubünden that stretches from the Bernina Massif down to vineyards and orchards. The southern Alpine climate, abundant sunshine and organically cultivated soil all contribute directly to the aroma.
For more than three decades, the farm has been regarded as a pioneer of organic herb cultivation in Switzerland. The sage is harvested at the optimal time and gently dried at a maximum temperature of 40 °C, helping to preserve its essential oils. The tea is packaged directly on site at the Erboristeria in Valposchiavo.
Loose-leaf tea – more aroma, more sage
As a loose-leaf tea, it comes without tea bags. Whether you use a tea infuser, strainer or French press, the leaves can unfold freely, the water circulates without restriction and the aroma develops fully. Sage is a plant that needs room. A loose-leaf infusion provides it.
Caffeine-free, with no flavourings or additives. During the day, after a meal or on a cool evening – a tea with character, suited to many occasions.
Directly from Valposchiavo – certified organic and fully traceable
The sage is organically cultivated in Valposchiavo. Cultivation and processing are handled entirely by the Raselli farm in Le Prese – from the field to the cardboard packaging. No intermediaries and no anonymous supply chains. For you, this means complete transparency and an aroma that cannot be compared with industrially packaged tea products.
