One plant. Citrusy. Unmistakable.
Lemon verbena is no ordinary herb. Botanically known as Lippia citriodora, it has an aroma that is clearly distinct from lemon balm, lemongrass and other citrus-scented herbs: more intense, clearer and more elegant. Once you have tasted a good lemon verbena tea, you will recognise it immediately.
Raselli Organic Lemon Verbena Tea consists exclusively of pure lemon verbena cultivated in Valposchiavo – with no blends, flavourings or additives. The infusion is clear and citrusy-fresh, with a delicate and pleasantly light character. As a loose-leaf tea, its distinctive aroma unfolds particularly intensely – noticeably more pronounced than in a tea bag.
Raselli – herbal pioneers since 1991
Behind this tea is not an anonymous packaging company, but a family with a long history. The Raselli family has cultivated its herbs in Valposchiavo since 1991 – a valley in the canton of Graubünden that stretches from the Bernina Massif down to vineyards and orchards. The southern Alpine climate, abundant sunshine and organically cultivated soil all contribute directly to the aroma.
For more than three decades, the farm has been regarded as a pioneer of organic herb cultivation in Switzerland. The lemon verbena is harvested at the optimal time and gently dried at a maximum temperature of 40 °C, helping to preserve its volatile aromatic compounds. The tea is packaged directly on site at the Erboristeria in Valposchiavo.
Loose-leaf tea – more aroma, more lemon verbena
As a loose-leaf tea, it comes without tea bags. Whether you use a tea infuser, strainer or French press, the leaves can unfold freely, the water circulates without restriction and the aroma develops fully. Anyone familiar with lemon verbena knows that some of its character is always lost in a tea bag. With a loose-leaf infusion, it is not.
Caffeine-free, with no flavourings or additives. Fresh during the day and calm in the evening – a tea suited to both moments.
Directly from Valposchiavo – certified organic and fully traceable
The lemon verbena is organically cultivated in Valposchiavo. Cultivation and processing are handled entirely by the Raselli farm in Le Prese – from the field to the cardboard packaging. No intermediaries and no anonymous supply chains. For you, this means complete transparency and an aroma that cannot be compared with industrially packaged tea products.
