Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), peppermint (Mentha piperita) and chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) are among the best-known herbs in European plant knowledge and have been firmly established in the herbal tradition of Central Europe for centuries. The lemon balm extract in Magen essentia is standardised to 2.5% rosmarinic acid – equivalent to 7.75 mg rosmarinic acid per daily dose. Fennel provides essential oils as characteristic plant compounds; chamomile is known for its flavonoids.
Magen essentia is produced in Switzerland according to GMP standards, based on a formula developed by Natura Nova. Only laboratory-tested plant extracts and powders are used. Every batch is tested for purity, identity and microbiological parameters. The HPMC capsule shell is fully vegan.
