Black seed oil is not all the same. Black seed oil capsules from Natura Nova contain 500 mg of virgin oil from Egyptian Nigella sativa – unrefined, processed in a vegan HPMC capsule shell, without any additives. Egyptian Nigella sativa is considered particularly aromatic and rich due to the climatic conditions and soil quality in its growing region.
Nigella sativa – known in German-speaking countries as black cumin – is an annual plant from the buttercup family and has been used for thousands of years in traditional plant knowledge in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. The oil is extracted from the small black seeds and has long been part of nutritional science considerations worldwide. “Virgin” means that the oil is obtained without refining and without heat treatment – preserving the natural composition of fatty acids and secondary plant compounds.

For Natura Nova black seed oil capsules, only virgin oil from Egyptian Nigella sativa seeds is used. Processing in an HPMC capsule shell makes the product fully vegan.
