Pine resin forms the resinous foundation. Juniper adds a clear, fresh forest note. Oak bark brings a warm, robust “tree” signature that noticeably grounds the smoke. Verbena adds a tart, herbaceous-dry line. Galangal rounds it off with spicy sharpness and depth, making the fragrance focused and present.

The ancient Germanic peoples were deeply connected to nature, for whom incense rituals were a natural part of life. Archaeological finds such as so-called "incense cakes" (clumps of resins and plant remains) provide clues about the incense materials used. Combined with mythological, logical, and intuitive knowledge, this creates access to "Germanic wisdom," which this incense series aims to revive. As a symbol, Wotan in the form of an eagle represents the thirst for knowledge and the art of magic (according to Christian Rätsch).
